Mod Rhys
This is the first event that Rhys has modded! They’re a gen mod of this Bang, and they’re excited to get it rolling! They are also a mod for five other bangs. Rhys is participating in the TodoDeku Big Bang and Todoroki Big Bang as a writer, and in the Shinsou Big Bang as a beta.
Mod Kara
This is the second event that Kara has modded! She is a gen mod of this Bang, as well as the Head Mod of the Kirishima Big Bang and the Kaminari Big Bang (Interest Check yet to come out.) Kara is a writer in the Izuku Big Bang, TodoDeku Big Bang and Todoroki Big Bang.
Mod Tsu
This is the first event that Tsu has modded! She's one of the gen mods for this Bang, and she's excited to participate! She's never done any sort of bang before, but she hopes to learn a lot!
Mod Caia
This is one of the many events Caia has modded for. They are a gen mod for this Bang. They have modded for four other bangs (Todoroki, Izuku, KageHina, etc.) and ten zines (Lilies in Bloom, Not My Forte, Imposter Syndrome, etc.). Caia has participated in six bangs and seven zines.

What is a Big Bang?
A Big Bang (or “Bang” for short) is a specific type of challenge usually involving long fics and accompanying artwork. This type of challenge is a reprise of the old zine tradition of collaboration between artists and writers for internet fandoms.
What is the Ashido Big Bang?
The Ashido Big Bang is a Big Bang event centered around Ashido Mina from the manga/anime Boku no Hero Academia by Horikoshi Kōhei.
What is this Bang’s theme?
The Bang’s theme is Space. Whether that be Personal Space, Mental Space, Safe Space, or Outer Space is up to the individual! The theme is not mandatory to follow, but is there to provide inspiration to writers and artists!
Will ships be allowed?
Yes, ships are allowed, but make sure to keep the focus on Class 1-A’s Alien Queen!
How do I join?
When applications are made available, you can sign up there! Mod Apps are released January 24th. Contributor apps are released February 28th, so make sure to keep an eye out for that!
Do I need a Discord?
Absolutely! The majority of communication will be made through Discord.
Will I be able to apply as a writer and an artist?
Sort of. You can only apply as one or the other, but you can also choose to be a beta or pinch hitter in addition to being a writer/artist. You do not need to be a writer/artist to be a beta/pinch hitter.
What is a pinch hitter?
A pinch hitter is kind of like backup. Life can get crazy, and we aren’t always able to finish projects we thought we could. If you need to drop from the Bang, a pinch hitter will step in to complete the work.
Can minors participate?
Yes! However, they will not be allowed to create any NSFW content.
Are there content restrictions?
Yes. While NSFW is allowed, any Minor/Adult ships are not allowed (even if you change the ages of the minor or adult in your fic from the canon age). In addition, Underage NSFW and non-con are not allowed.
Can I join with a friend as a pair?
Yes. Let a mod know when applications are out that you plan to partner with someone ahead of time.

General Participant Guidelines
The minimum word count for writers is 5k.
Artists will be required to complete a colored illustration.
Creation period length is 6 months from Summary Submission.
Artists can claim more than one summary if numbers allow.
General Rules
Be kind and respectful. This means no slurs, hate speech, trans/homophobia, etc. You acknowledge that “no” and “stop” are complete sentences. Only give critiques when asked, etc.
Plagiarism is not allowed and will result in an immediate ban.
Content Rules
All stories and art must be new for the bang and must not have been posted about prior to this bang.
